Located in the center of Punta del Este, 300 meters away from the bus station and 50 meters away from the beach, this historical house has ocean view from most of the rooms. It was originally opened by Jacobo and from 1949 he took care of all weary travellers until 1998 when it's doors were closed. In 2004 we decided to continue the traditional of the first owner, Jacobo and reopen as a hostel.While it maintains it's old charm it also has the modern comforts that travellers require while passing through. For your comfort we have a tranquil atmosphere and chill out areas with T.V, DVD, games and books.We are located on the corner and have a cool bar with views to the sea and the beach. Our doors are open to all to share in the history and warmth of this house and this town
