Agriturismo Podere Castellare in Florence

Podere Castellare is a traditional Tuscan farmhouse, situated at 20 km from Florence near the national Park of Vallombrosa, the property is part of the Chianti area and extends for 35 hectares. Immersed amongst olive groves, wine yards and cypresses it offers stunning views and tranquillity. Podere Castellare has been transformed using a total ecological concept into a delightful sort of hotel in the countryside. The farmhouse produces also its own oil, honey and typical liqueurs which can be bought directly in the place. The common leaving area consists of a nice sitting room with sofas and armchairs, bookcase and little tables, and like the rest of the house it is furnished to a high standard. There is also an outdoor garden sitting area with sofas and armchairs in a designed style. In the property there are extensive gardens and terraces to relax and enjoy the view, a swimming pool (15 m) with sun beds and tables and sun umbrellas. Changing rooms facilities with shower and a little bar are also provided. Among the facilities there is also a tennis court which can also be transformed in a 5 aside football pitch, a well equipped fitness centre with gym, sauna, Turkish bath and Jacuzzi and mountain bikes. Massages every day on request. It is always possible to enjoy our delicious meals both at lunch and dinner as the restaurant serves traditional homemade Tuscan dishes prepared, using all genuine products, by our cook Elisa. We are personally concerned with the well-being of our guests and do our best to make their stay as comfortable as possible.
