| About the hostel |
The Chelsea Center East is located right in the middle of the hip and trendy Lower Eastside in downtown Manhattan. We are within walking distance to Chinatown, Little Italy, Soho and the East Village.We offer personal attention and friendly service and because we are small, we know everybody by name! We are also a great place for single travellers, because we provide a safe environment and it is easy to meet other travellers. Especially women who travel alone enjoy staying with us. New York offers an exciting nightlife, especially in our area, and we think everybody should enjoy it (no curfew!) but once you get back to the hostel we require you to be quiet and considerate.
