The breakfast is good and also the staff. The location is great! The price is a little expensive.

the location for this hostel is second to none. the bar is fun, staff are too. but if your on the second level. be ready to wait for the showers. but all in all, i had a blast! and if ya use my tropicana cards...its missing one from the deck. enjoy!!

Party, party, party! THE place to start off each and every night, always great people staying there and a great chillout area inside and out.
Rooms can be a bit cramped and stuffy, most people also dont go out til 2am and come home from the clubs until afer 6am so sleep might be disrupted if you go to bed early,

My stay at 1949 was by far the most fun I've had at any Hostel. The staff and guests were awesome!

Cramming 9 beds into the smallest room and then charging 27US$ for it is not the norm in South America. Very strict bar policy where you had to pay steep barprices for all alcohol all day as you where not allowed to bring your own... Over all the worst hostel experience in South America..
