It's a very nice place, beautiful rooms and located in a nice area. Staff is always friendly and tremendously helpful! I got sick for two days from the travel to Cairo and here they helped a lot with bringing food to the room etc. Thanks to the hostel we had a very nice stay at Cairo. I'd recommend to everybody to stay here!

we were bitten to death by mosquitos, the room was full of furniture that looked on the point of collapse, and everything just felt a bit unloved and uncleaned. Not sure why this place is rated so highly on your site!

Well located for places to eat,shops,bottle shop,walk to the Nile, train etc.A local street map with this info or a Hostel info board would help.The rooms are big with high ceilingsfan. Room 503 has a shower with hot water. Great! Don't bother with a balcony room, the polution will kill you! Thanks to friendly staff for info on tours taxis etc. Don't ask for a wake-up call if you're going to the airport... they forgot us twice.Would stay here again.

We were a bit wary due to the 2 negative posts on hostelworld about this hostel, but everything was great. Among the perks:
-bright, fresh paint
-elevator
-free coffeetea 24 hours a day in addition to breakfast brought to order
-decent internet most of the time
-really mixed groups of travellers of all ages
-good location
-hardly any mosquitos (in stark contrast to our other 2 cairo hostels)

Nice place with large rooms, good beds and very friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast is not worth talking about though. My only but serious negativ comment is that there were smoke all over - from guests and the staff.

We have lived there for only one night but the staffs are really nice and friendly. The breakfast is simple but good taste. also the location is convenient for travellers to visit places of interests in central Cario.
