We took a twin private. It was perfect for us. on the 6th floor with a beautiful window and a nice view. the staff was helpfull and the room clean and quiet.
The only bad thing: it does not has a kitchen, so you have to eat out everyday.

Very nice hostel! You should bring a sleeping bag because the sheet is small. Nice location (RED Light D. and central station are 5 min walk. You got to be prepare to party because in the 20 beds dorm there is noise at least until 3h30am! (OR you can be wasted and you wont hear a sound!!!) HAVE FUN AMSTERDAM ROCKS !!!

Had a 100% positive experience, staff were friendly and professional and always helpful. We had issues with making our initial booking but a Staff member assisted us with no hint of difficulty and was extremely understanding to our needs. Room was spacious, clean and so nice and warm! Thankyou so much for a really great visit, would definitely stay again!

While the location was prime- right next to the Centraal Station and by the Red Light district and anne frank house- the hostel rooms literally looked like prison cells. The beds were incredibly painful, the blankets were thin and im pretty sure not washed for awhile.. oh and did i mention there was a draft next to the window that eventually got me sick after my 4 day stay.
The staff was great though. They totally helped me map out my stay.

The location is excellent however pack light as carrying your luggage up 6 levels of extremely steep stairs can prove difficult....
