The showers were not cleaned once in the 3 days we were there.The kitchen was a disgrace,there were ants all over the floor,and hardly any utenstils to speak of so dont bother trying to cook there!The staff were lazy.I would only recommend this place as a last resortif ur strapped for cash,even then theres a much better hostel on loa around the corner for pretty much the same money!

The main male staff member at the desk was the unfriendliest we've met in a hostel so far. Despite us booking in advance & getting confirmation from both Hostelworld & Amigo Hostel themselves, when we turned up he told us he only got our booking 2 hours previously so the room wasn't available. He insisted they hadn't sent me confirmation even though I had the email! Instead of a double bed we got 2 singles in a big cold triple room. The guy's attitude was unapologetic and unfriendly.
