The staff really makes the difference, they created a great party atmosphere and chill. Alex is the best host easygoin and helpfull. The location is great as well

Some staff knew little about the whereabouts in Rio...
And when someone left, the bed sheets were left the same. So very dirty!!!

The most disorganised hostel I have ever tried to book, especially as it comes recommended by the Lonely Planet. I tried to confirm my reservation several times and the hostel never got back to me. When I arrived they told me it was full and I lost my deposit on it. Your much better off staying in one of the other hostels in the same courtyard.
