Staying at the Apartment Qualitas, would be likened to staying with an insatiably anal friend, with little to no people skills and a flat so dilapidated it quite literally defies belief. The man, Yves, was helpful enough, but literally the place was unbelievably shoddy. There was a wrench on the cold tap, the roof of the bathroom was caving in, and the sink drained about as often as the Atlantic ocean. I shan't be returning, because staying at a hostel should be fun! This, wasn't.

The location of the hostel is brilliant but that's about the only positive. The owner's rules and signs up all over the place make it seem as if he treats people like schoolkids, the place (ie the bathroom etc.) wasn't clean when we arrived and wasn't cleaned once during the four days we were there. The waste paper basket in the room had rubbish in it from the previous occupant. Not to be recommended.
