Pity it rained the whole time, but dvd's in the lounge was cool. Lockers would be good.

It's in the very centre of the city, so you might want to take earplugs with you. But still very nice place.

we really enjoyed are say in barnacles, due to the location and atmosphere. we did hav a few problems with r room, we had no heating so d staff gave us a blow heater that blew the sockets. we stayed in a dorm room for 8 and after 4 people had showers the water was like ice. it was very clean either, d floor wasnt cleaned and their was mould on d curtains, matresses and ceiling.

We were impressed by the hostels great location but that was about it. We found the rooms to be extremley cold as the heaters are on a timer and didn't come on very often. Also we didn't find the staff very friendly, they were very offhand and when asked what was on in Galway they didn't know. Will not be staying there again.

Most of the staff were very unfriendly and did not posess any good customer service skills. The lady at check-in was very friendly and I felt the rest of the staff were a let down to her.
