VERY friendly staff, fair pricing, and right in the thick of things. Two problems are (1) lots of mosquitos at night (2) we don't know if they were involved in the HUGE ripoff our hotel-arranged tour pulled us into at Giza for a camel ride.

I had a great time, much fun, good organization especially for people travelling alone. I would suggest this hotel for sure. Hope to come back in the future.

Pros: The staff is friendly and helpful. I felt very welcome and safe here. Cons: I booked a private room with a bathroom - the bathroom was in the room, but had no roof and smelled at times. There was also a lot of mold growing in the bathroom due to not having a seperate stall for the shower. My room had a mosquito problem and I got very bit up my second night.

Staying at Bedouin is a lot less like being a guest in a hostel and much more like being welcomed home as family. Even if the hostel didn't have all the amenities you need - which it does - such would be enough to have you stay and to come back.

The hospitality at the Bedouin Hotel was out of this world. All staff went out of their way to make sure that we had everything the we needed or wanted. The hotel is located right by the Nile, 10 minute walk, and also very close to the Egyptian Museum, about the same distance. There was never a doubt in my mind whether or not I or my belongings would be safe in the hotel, ever. Staying at the Bedouin Hotel made my trip to Cairo so much more enjoyable and unforgettable.

I highly recommend staying at the Bedouin Hotel in Downtown Cairo. Apart from the excellent location the staff are very helpful and very welcoming. This would also be a very safe Hotel if you are a single female traveller.
