Hostel is clean and the dorms are fine. The staff are not very helpful or friendly and the food is very average. However the location is good.

Very Good location.

Just as good the second visit as the first. Big, fun common area, albeit very smoky and loud. Private rooms are a great value, have all the features of a 2 or 3 star Chinese hotel, and are spotlessly clean.

Really friendly staff and very helpful with any queries you may have. The place is very clean and the food is really good. The location is great - right beside the tube station and the city wall. The bedroom is lovely and warm, very comfortable, lovely hot showers. Would defo stay again.

Bell Hostel was so relaxing and friendly. Get place to meet western people working in China, who visit the hostel for a few beers in the evening. Staff were really helpful with directions and even got us flights and accomdation for Chengdu. Clean and friendly with the best showers in China (well needed after the cold outside). A must stay!

A very cozy place right in the heart of Downtown Xi'an. My friend and I walked or took the bus everywhere we wanted to go because it was so convenient. The staff was very helpful with travel info and such. The people we met there were also very friendly, fun, and talkative! Overall, I'd have to say that my experience in Xi'An, or rather at Bell Tower YH, was a very positive one! If time permits, I will definitely come again! ^^

We had a good time and really appreciated the efforts the staff were making to make our lives easy. I won't forget the girls teaching me Chinese Jumping Chess and our talks about Mimi the house cat. Elodie from France
