Great hostel, great staff- when you got on their good sides, awesome location, nice to have a common room with TV and backyard for smokers. No complaints! Would stay again!

Except for the Location, witch is good, all the other items are terrible. The building is very old, the kitchen and TV room are too small (tables for both internet use, watching tv and having dinner are all the same place). Besides that, no lockers in the rooms, bad showers and the staff at the front desk were usually extremely unpolite.

Brilliant location. The guy that worked in the mornings was really nice and very helpful but the only who worked at night wasn't very nice.

had an amazing time at the big apple hostel. its about 50 meters from the heart of time square so i couldn't have asked for anything better!

Good things: Location and is cheap! and have a kitchen and room with tv.
Bad things: Do not have lockers in the room, no furniture (not chairs), only the beds and the room is too small with dust! do not have breakfast.
But location is GREAT! TIMES SQUARE IS FANTASTIC! (with the same price in that location is impossible to have better).

some of the staff are very unwelcomung, some are cool, depends on the shift.
I strongly recommended it though.

The location is really good. Small room for 4 ppl. The bed and blanket is average. There is not much fun in the dorm. It's ok if you travel everyday and come back only for sleep.
