Pissy smell in the rooms, desinteressted staff, showers and bathrooms should carry a health warning, could actually be nice with a little care

we got there and could not gain access. Once we finally got through to someone after calling for over an hour, the manager was not in and there was'nt a room for us. So we lost time and money and had to pay a fortune to stay the night in a hotel as we had nowhere, we also lost our deposit through yourself, so we are extremly unhappy with the standard of sevice provided by both parties.

i like the location, the hostel itself is great.....but hell, so much could be done with this place! it needs a good tidy up...a good scrub.....fresh paint....flowers in the garden...it needs a serious revamp! and a fan in the room would have been nice since it was stinkin hot!

I absolutely loved Blu Tongue Backpackers. Planned to saty for 3 days ended up staying a month!! Staff were very helpful and I was quickly accepted into the Blue tongue family. Cleaned everyday, no nasty bugs inside (or i'd have moved!) and brilliant homely feel! Definitely recommend!
