We knew that the check-in hotel and apartment were on opposite sides of the city, but were surprised by the two eights on the street. Once inside, we didn't find the 'fully equipped' kitchen (a portable burner) until the third day. Apart from the non-functioning bathroom door, nonexistent toilet paper, and extremely difficult (for us, impossible) to open window covers that made our sleeping area a box, the apartment served its purpose - a cheap way to see Paris. Factor in the metro tickets.

I was glad I only had to deal with the staff once as they were very unfriendly at the time of the check-in.
