Good budget hotel style hostel in a great location at the southern end of Kowloon. Chung King Mansions may be a bit rough round the edges but the hostel itself is immaculately clean and was easy to find.

no. just...no. sorry guys. filthy rooms, awful service, horrible environment. it costs 275 HKD a night - you'd be far better off checking out one of the hotels located nearby (see lonely planet etc). as a couple travelling together, we weren't particularly choosy when it came to accommodation but seriously...Chungking Mansion is worth having a look at if you have a few spare hours but unless you are travelling on absolute minimal money, we suggest you leave this place well alone.

Wow this is one of the best hostel i have ever slept in chungking mansion it's clean and convenient, mangers are friendly together with the staffs, and i therefore recommend every body to book this hostel,

At first I kinda shock when I see the main entrance of the Chung King Mansion, and then see the lift. But after that when we see the hospitality of the personnel at the Carlton Hostel and see the cleanness of the room and the place, I love it.
I definitely will stay there when I want to go to Hong Kong again ^_^

Cool and Lovely Staff,Clean Room However.The Price I find almost the cheapest to get Triple in Hong Kong Area.The hostel feel safe But so many Arabic People in Ground Floor.

Hello! Are you kiding me? You cancelled the reservation and send this to the hostel, but not to me. So we arrived in the hostel and we didn't have a reservation, because of a computer error. Now you asking me, about my stay in the hotel? Only thing i hope is, that you don't charge me credit card. Not even for the reservation fee. Simon
