basic. room very small and showertoilet a bit too close if your sharing the room with someone (after eating all those mexican beans and chilies you don't want your partner only 30cm away when your on the toilet). Breakfast was good, staff good, location in the heart of historic area. great town! hostel is worth the price, but don't expect much.

I loved this hostel!!!! The whole place is very clean. There are two rooftop terraces to sit on gaze over the city. One has a full kitchen complete with all tools you need. The atrium is decorated in great kitchy pirate paraphenalia. The hosts are very kind and a wealth of information. Unfortunately, the internet was down as well as their bicycles. I do believe they will both be up and running soon.

Campeche is a gorgeous town- the most "European" I've seen in the Yucatan- and this hostel is located right inside the historic center. Some of the private rooms had large gaps between the floor and door, and seemed a bit insecure, but besides that the hostel is great- my only other complaint would be their request that you pay to refill water bottles (though, the price is reasonable, it was the only place that charged me)
