I ended up not even staying a night in Che Lagarto MVD. Found the hostel to be dirty and the room I had (a double) was easily the worst I have seen on my trip. The staff were ok, although a bit distracted. The location is good, but I am sure that there are better options in MVD.

Nice vibe and great staff who were very helpful with info, advice and directions, but had no clue about their WIFI network, which I couldn't connect to the whole week. Hostel is in the perfect location right on the main square and close to everything... restaurants, market, bars, etc. Really nice breakfast compared to most hostels, but beds are poor quality, even for a hostel.

We spend crhistimas eve and anothe day. It was a good stey, the staff are vey helpfull and kind. They are in a secure area and they call a doctor free to se an alergy that atack us. Good bar, video room and bedrooms. Probably the best on town. But don't ask the reception a cab to the airport. take in the street for half price.
