Nice facilities and generally comfortable, however you really need to put up some curtains over the blinds. The blinds are ineffective and a lot of light comes streaming into the room from 6am onward which makes it really hard to sleep. Also double glazing might be a good investment to cut out the street noise. The construction site next door is a complete nightmare - you should supply all visitors with complementary earplugs until that building is complete!

it was just what i needed a great little room all to my self for not alot of money clean and staff friendly. not to far away from city bus stop over road that goes to britomart if you don't want to walk into the centre of town. although not a problem for me it maybe problem if you have problems walking up hills is on mid to top of steepish hill.otherwise very good

It is one of the best hostel of Nieuw Zealand. For $35 (NZD) p.p. we stay in a double ensuite room. It look more like a hotel than a hostel. I would for sure recomand this place!

Cant fault this place, but not as much character as a hostel, but very clean & good value for money.

We hadn't noticed that you had to pre-book parking and that it was $10 per day. Think this should be clearer.

We stayed here to get over jet lag after a long flight so the quiet, reasonably priced private rooms were a great change from dorm accomodation. It's a short walk from the city centre, up a hill (not right in the centre). Bathrooms and rooms were simple but clean and had a decent sized fridge and kettle. Staff were very helpful and friendly - especially in letting us into our rooms a little early when we arrived tired after a long flight. I\\\'d definitely stay here again.

have stayed twice and would really consider staying again. on of the best hostels in my experience so far. staff are great, Andre is a cool guy!
