The rooms smelled like smoke and often did not feel safe ... due to other people staying in hostel and are outside. If staying here definetly do not go out at night in this area.

Great place to stay, besides the location. Alot of homeless people around. But still quite close to everything, easy walking distance to downtown. But overall, a good place to stay.

The staff were incredibly helpful and upbeat, and while the neighbourhood is a bit sketchy, it's really close to transit and major shopping areas. Honestly, invest in a private room if you can, and you'll be fine. It can get a little loud at night, but that's what earplugs are for.(The bathroom is also amazingly clean. Props!)

we booked for 2 days but we leave this dirthy hosel after the first night. it's very discusting.. the bath, the room nothing is clean. and a mouse or cockroach was in our room...

Very rough area, very dirty streets, homeless and mentally ill people everywhere.Its not just a hostel, they have residents full time, mainly men of a certain age which was quite intimidating at times. The room was very hot, (no fan or ac) and very dirty! There is only 2 toilets and 1 shower between 25-30 rooms and there is no private are to change for the shower! Not impressed!
