i spent time on new year eve and the place was very quiet not even any restaurant to eat. as well its too far and very difficult to find the place, and their instruction were not clear. may be in summer it can be exellent place to live but winter was quiet cold in the room and heating was not good eather........

special experience in Rome. far away from the city but the sightseeing is very nice. I hope that it would be cleaner inside the room and the direction would be clearer as well. staffs there are nice and helpful

There availability of internet was poor. It was understandable that the network had failed because of the lightening storm the week before our arrival but the cost of using the internet was very high and only 3 computers worked in the reception room. Of the 3 that worked in the reception room the headset of 1 of the computers was not working. We recommend making the internet cheaper to use.

I stayed there in September, after the main season was over and so a lot of the activities were shut down and most of the staff was gone so the ones who were left were perhaps a little overworked, and maybe ready to go home. It would probably be fun in the summer but really far from Rome and not much transportation to get there.,..and none after midnight. I guess it depends on what you want from your visit to the Rome area...not the best for seeing the city.

I changed my accomodations for my last night at this hostel considering I started traveling solo. The write up said a 4 bed female dorm and it actually ended up being a run down cheap tent with shady tin bunk beds and filthy old matresses. There were ants running around everywhere inside and no linens were provided. When I went to front desk to hire linen they offered napki thing temporary sheets. (I should have kept the blanket from the airplane because it would have provided better warmth.) It...More

Cheap to book, did not know what to expect, but room was great! Soap, TP, pillows, bed sheets, + blankets provided, + all kept very clean. Staff helpful - give bus schedule + metro map, + called taxi co. for me so I could leave safe at 6AM. Have a bar, + restaurant (quite fancy). 5 min. away from Ostia Antica, great ancient town. Quite far from Rome (about 45 min. from bus stop to metro to forum.) If Rome is your main destination + you only have 1-2 days, stay somewhere closer to the city.
