This was a great hostel and everyone was really friendly! Pretty good location. Not too far from the Lagoon. For some reason the area seemed more tropical than the other hostel we stayed at in Cairns. There were more mosquitoes here. Also the area conditioning in our room cost $1 for three hours so it got a little hot and humid in the middle of the night but other than that everything was great. I would definitely stay here again.

Great atmosphere and great staff makes it great fun. Not a party place but a place to relax and meet new people. They can offer you very good tours...

Absolutely loved this hostel. Probably my favourite hostel I've stayed in during my time in Australia (2 years). Chris was extremely helpful with booking trips to Great Barrier Reef and Bungy Jumping. Would recommend everyone to stay here who is looking for a more relaxed, personal hostel.

Very helpful and friendly staff with a lot of local knowledge they like to share with you; got recommended really good tours by them.
Highly recommended; quiet, in walkable distance of basically everything.
The seats in the common area could be more comfortable though.
