We enjoyed the personal, friendly nature of the hostel. It felt like our home for the 3 days we stayed there. Botz took a lot of care that we should enjoy our stay...cooking really great meals for us and trying to keep us ward. Really enjoyed the stories by the fire, the humour and sense of the absurd. Would definitely visit again in slightly warmer times.

Superb time, great atmosphere, cozy rooms, a very homey character. Botz is one crazy bloke, but a geniune character and a fantastic cook. Only advice is to stay away from the anis.

Great little hostel with lots of character and warmth. Bots, our host was amazing and made sure we had a great time.
Its a little out of the way from Ronda but its worth the hike out there for the lovely scenery and walks you can do around the town.
Make sure you try the home cooked breakfasts and dinners!!

El Refugio - a peaceful, idyllic & heartful place next to a hectic Ronda. No need to worry about anything, Botz, a chef takes perfectly care of you. It's british, very british indeed!
