Cheap hostel near Venice and public transport to downtown is cheap and easy to use.

The thing is that the place is quite away from the main street in Oriago - you have to go by bike till the buss station (about 10 - 15 min)and the buss will take you to Venice in about 30 - 40 min; if you return late in the evening, there is no street lightning (for about 500 m in the open field)and is no pleasure to ride the bike in the middle of the night with no lights. The breakfast is poor, conditions not so good but the staff is ok and funny.
