an excellent location, full of history. We enjoyed the 1 hour scenic walk to the historic town of Certaldo up on the hill. great views of tuscan hills, vineyards, farms....
we enjoyed cooking in the old fashioned kitchen.
the rooms are very quirky, with old paintings, pictures.
we recommend taking the cooking courses if available - a fun day out.

great place to stay and meet friendly staff and travellers. cool pets there too. good location to visit florence, siena and pisa as day trips and enjoy the tuscan countryside when you want to unwind. it was the perfect place.
