A good solid place to stay for the price, near the train station and has free internet access. Staff very helpful.

Within minutes of arriving at Funny Palace we were given maps and general directions to anywhere in the city. Mabri (the main guy) gave us a general plan that we could follow and even gave us an outlined schedule of where and when we should go places and it was extremely useful. He told us about bus routes and the easiest ways to travel around the city, he let us store our bags and use the internet even after checking out and was extremely helpful. He even helped us fix something on the scoot...More

SUPER helpful staff, nice and close to the rail station (but far enough away so you don't hear trains :-) Listen to their advice - saved us a lot of queuing - much appreciated. Check in a bit random in the laundromat, but staff always on hand and very very helpful.

First of all, when you look for the hostel, the checkin is at the Internet cafelaundromat (Funny Palace is not prominently displayed). The place is quite small, the apt where I stayed held about 12 people and there was only one bathroom for all 12 people. But all in all, I met some cool people and enjoyed Rome.

A very nice hostel with very good staff that are always ready with a joke and to help you with whatever you need. Internet and towels available upon request and an excellent location! no common room except the computerlaundromat area however.
