This hostel was very homey and the staff were very nice. I'd definitely go back to Golden Pond again if ever i consider to return to Korea. If you're looking for a simple, homey place to stay then this is YOUR guesthouse ^^

I really enjoyed my stay at Golden Pond. I was cold and tired at check-in and felt completely refreshed by check-out. Getting to and from the airport couldn't be easier because the bus stop is a 2 minute walk from Golden Pond. The subway is also close by. I found the staff to be helpful and friendly. They really contributed to the relaxed atmosphere of the guesthouse. I'll definitely be back because my stay was comfortable and rates were quite reasonable.

Very small, nothing special to do, don't expect any atmosphere at all. Good points are it's located in a rather lively and very close to the subway station. The mattress was also good (not too thin, not too soft) and we had warm linen. However, the bathroom were pretty bad. First, because they were not heated, they were very cold. Second, you couldn't get more than a few minutes of hot water. Would'nt come back.

Great location. The hostel itself was your basic hostel. The owner was friendly and helpful with info, but a little absent minded. She got my reservation confused and I felt like we had the same conversation regarding it but with different stories every day so it got a little frustrating. I recommend reconfirming your reservation here. However, for the price and location it's worth it. I did notice a (maybe just because of the other comments?) cat pee odor...

Very enjoy spending time here. The staffs are very friendly. We hope to come back here again.
