We really enjoyed our time in Saranda, and especially at the Hairy Lemon. Definitely stay at the Lemon, if you're going to Saranda.

the hostel was actually really quite easy to find just look for the orange and yellow building! i didnt have any trouble with people trying to steal bags and everyone was really friendly apart from the fact that they stare but i think thats just because we look different!! the beach was great to swim at and the views from the balcony off the dorm were amazing. do yourself a favour and stay there.

Im concerned with security. I nearly got my bag stolen by a gang of very threatning 10 year old boys along the coastal route from the port & found out a man at the hostel had the same thing happen to him the day before. Why wernt we warned? I was very shanken up. The owner wants to make the coastal route the new way to the hostel, please dont. Anybody would rather a small hill climb than get mugged. The owner went with a friend to try & sort out the problem but I doubt it worked.

A great experience that should not be missed when in Saranda. Annette is an awesome host, full of fun and knowledgeable, meeting her is worth the trip to Albania

Very suave apartment, but I can't really give a full opinion on it all because Annette was away when i was there. She sounds cool at least?! And I hear usually it's probably cleaner and has a better vibe with good staff.
