The hostel is very nicely decorated, but except from that don't expect any enterntainment. The host, who's also the only staff-member, knows the backpacking-life and will tell you what you want to know about Madrid. A good place to sleep, but not to hang out.

Good location.Cold room without heater while we stayed.no public room.only one shower in the floor,people lined in front of it.I couldnt take a shower in the morning.

Nice arranged property. The location is good but noisy if U have a room on the street and you needs a tampon to sleep. The staff is very helpful&give me further access to the room for my baggage. however no rubbish bin in the room

The manager doesn't know the principle of wiping an taking up dirt. Instead he spreads a skinirritating amount of highly concentrated cleaning liquid almost everywhere.dirt like hair stay where it was. Furnitures are beautyful!

Hostal Horizonte was really a very nice place to stay! Very nice decorated, very clean, very central in the city, very friendly staff...what would you want more ;-) I will surely recommend this to everyone I know!

If you are by yourself and want to meet people in your hostalhotel, this is not the one to do it in. But if you're looking for a great affordable, well located, fantastic place to stay while you explore Madrid, this is the perfect place. Their special map is super helpful (as are the staff). Be careful though, the building is currently being renovated (like everything in Madrid) so if you have the window open, your room might get dusty. I loved it though!

Very nice decorations, too bad there
