Honestly the best decision, when they transferred me to the sister hostel, the Fire Arms Hostel in Zagorodny prospekt. I had a great time there, super breakfast, nice other travellers, and a great administrator from Usbekistan. I miss you and thank you for everything. Ja vernus objazatel

Nice free breakfast. Showers didn't drain properly...had to take quick showers to prevent flooding. Rooms were nice and cozy. Beds were comfortable. Staff was friendly. The location was a small problem. The website says 5-7 minute walk from the nearest metro. I couldn't do it in less than 10 while flat out walking. Walking to the main Nevsky prospect was at least 20 mins or more.

This is a small hostel, but it is in a decent location not too far away from the centre. Though not all staff spoke English, they were still very helpful. The included breakfast is worthwhile and saves the hassle of hunting around for a coffee shop

The staff don't speak much English. Our visa registrations (which cost 600 each) didn't arrive until we checked-out which wasn't much use as the police like to check foreigners' documents and fine them for anything they can. But an exceptionally clean hostel, in a good location.

The friends I usually stay with were unavailable. This was a late choice and a lucky one. Up a typical Soviet staircase and beyond a typical Soviet door is a bargain. Sabrina is spotlessly clean - it shines. The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is food for a week(or more).

Best hostel I have been to in Russia! Clean, good location, nice people. I like the fact that you get to know each other at the breakfast, which is included by the way.
Maybe, however, some lockers wouldn't be a bad idea.
I would definately go there again!

The beds were a little hard and it got a little warm in the room at night, but other than that the common spaces were great and when we arrived in the morning the woman working there made sure we had breakfast. The constantly available tea was wonderful.
