The hostel is located in the center of Helsinki which is great, but unfortunately subscribes all too much to the HI philosophy (large, anodyne and rather boring). Staff were friendly and helpful though.

Good things; Free access to wireless internet (but in the room, u have to prepare 5m or longer LAN cable)
2) free breakfast
Inconvenient things :
1) non-automated elevator
2) shared shower room( it is together with toilet)
Location - just next to Royal SAS hotel.
Anyway it was good and i think i saved my money a lot. i recommend u this hostel.

There was no air in the room!!!! The so called "opened window" meant small strip covered with two metallic nets -actually iron shielded window part with small holes in it! It was hard to breathe! It was impossible to open the window! Four days -nobody neither cleaned my room nor changed my towel! There was only one shower-bathroom on the floor, which meant - lot of time in the queue. Public part of the hostel was clean, breakfast was tasty.
