Very good hostel in downtown San Diego. Our room was a bit small, but everything else was very good! Can recommend it!

Excellent Location. Near resturants, drug stores, food stores, buses. Women's dorms are on the street and noisy at times. Private rooms are in the back and quieter. Recommend you bring your own towels. Staff very friendly and helpful. Pleasant atmosphere. Would stay again.

This is one of the best hostels I've ever stayed in. The foam beds were extremely comfortable, the staff were great, and everything was very clean. Highly recommended to all.

Very nice location in the heart of San Diego. Beds at the hostel were very unconvinient (so can't really recomend this hostel for anyone with a back problems), but for a short stay this hostel is just great!

I only stayed a little more than two days in san diego. With a lot to see, I do not have much time to explore the hostel. The location is great--public transportation is easy to get to. But I would not recommend it for people who can't get into sleep with noise-- it is in downtown, surounded by bars.

we had a great time staying with hostelling international downtown san diego!.. it was warm, inviting, friendly with fun helpful staff. also, a great kitchen!
