Francesco was a fantastic host, he went beyond his call of duty to help us with everything we needed to know to get the most out of our 3 nights in Florence. We even ran into him at the train station when we were leaving and he helped us find out platform because we were lost. What a champion!
The hotel itself is pretty old and run down, but it's the spirit of the place that made it a great stay!

It was too small and a 3 bed room is converted to a 4 bed one, making a double dekker bed.

The staff is very helpful and the location is good, close to the train station and easy to go by walking to many important places in the city, but a little bit difficult to find because the numbers aren't in order. The room was ok!

I had a hard time finding a place to stay in Florence for a good price and I ended up here. It's in an ok area by the train station and near lots of restraunts and not too far from the sights. But it was full of mosquitos and lots of dead bloody ones on the walls. Make sure to get a private bathroom because you have to walk pretty far to the shared one. My wife hated this place. It's just really low rent in a very expensive city.
