I loved this place. I arrived in low-tourist season, just before they were to close for the winter but I still loved the place. The owners were very helpful and friendly, and the hostel is directly next door to a supermarket and fresh fruit shop. I hired a bike from the hostel and rode all day around the lake. I highly recommend this hostel.

Staff was amayingly friendly and helpful. Convenient shop next door for food and drinks. Very close to the water and a good restaurant. Only complaint is the town was a little small.

This is a great hostel - the staff are really friendly and helpful, and it's very clean and cosy. I love the little outdoor bar area! My only criticism would be the lack of lockers - the staff locked my laptop in a "safe" room for me, but when I came back the door was open and I was able to walk right in and lift it, which worried me a bit! But apart from that, this is probably the best hostel I've stayed in - would come back here again. Close to the beach, and really nice people.

Beautiful hostel and not too far from balaton airport either. So close to the lake. When we went the whole town had an infestation of non-biting mosquitoes which was interesting but no reflection on the hostel! The staff are friendy and helpful with sightseeing, bus timetables and booking an airport taxi. They also do some wicked hungarian food which u pay about 3-4 euro and eat as much as you like! What more could you want!

The hostel is in the very relax area, but the personnal is very cool and we enjoed very well there...i advise for a couple if you throught by Revfulop near balaton lac, you have to get there for a few days at least to rest after the Sziget festival for exemple.

Awesome staff - always keen to help you out, tell you about the area. Also had a cool filmmusic festival on the week we stayed. The only asides may be: the toilets are cramped and shower curtains don't really close; the kitchen is a shack so self-catering was very limited. BUT a really sweet place and would definitely stay again!

Excellent hostel in a really pleasant location. The staff are really friendly and all speak english. There is 'authentic Hungarian food' cooked each night that you can eat in the characterful outside area and the hostel has a great vibe. My only problem would be the key system as each room only has one key so if you are the last to leave you must leave your key at the bar - this is not so great if someone accidentally takes the key with them and also doesn't seem that secure.
