when i arrived i was told that my room was not available but that i could have an alternate space nearby for the same price and all to myself. unfortunately neither turned out to be true. carlos charged me more than four times what i was supposed to pay per day for the original room, and the next day, two girls showed up to share it with me.

We stayed 4 nights. Its a 20 min walk from the Zicatela Beach. The beach that is 150m away is very nice and quiet. There are cheap restaurants close by right on the beach. You can watch the surfers at La Punta, rent a board to try it yourself or watch a beautiful sunset. Carlos the manager is very helpful. He can show you around the town, give good advice or get you anything you may need. There is a kitchen and nice common area. We would definitely go back and stay again. Thanks Carlos!
