This place was a nightmare! When we turned up there was a mistake with the booking on thier comp, then they showed us to a FREEZING room. When we said no to that they showed us another freezing room with a heater which wasnt working! Didnt stay!

I was very disappointed with this hostel. Most of the people sharing our dorm were long term live-in residents, therefore were territorial and behaved as if they owned the room (preparing & eating meals on their bedsturning lights on in middle of nighttalking loudly etc. Only 1 of the 3 communal showers worked (and even this was pitiful). The toilets were nearly always filthy. I dreaded using them. Only good things I can say: bed was comfortable; lovely restaurants close by.

Traditional Chinese palace-like hostel with excellent position,which is very near subway and lama temple. Suggest to try their ' Fried Rice with Onion and Egg'.

Such a humid place. The rooms were more than simple, kind of dirty. Prize, it was the most expensive hostal i've ever been. It was around 80 euros a night! (for a double room and because of the olympics) So expensive, anyway. I would not recommend this hostel at all. We were so dissapointed that we wanted to leave beijing even though we liked the city.

good location, right near the subway, free wifi internet, but the pond in the lobby is a good place for mozzies to breed
