Worst hostel experience ever. We arrived as we notified the hostel at 11pm from Oslo. We found my credit card did not open the door as expected. We called the number on the door which told us to try again during opening hours. We also went to a nearby bar where keys are left for late arriving guests, no key for us so the bar rang the hostel manager. This place was really cozy. we had a view out our windows of the mountain that overlooks the town, very nice at night when dotted with house lights. the staff were very helpful, kitchen superlative and the beds the softest iv had in donkeys years. we checked in at 11 after reception had closed but it was easy.. we could use the credit card we booked with to swipe into our rooms. very handy.

This was by far the best hostel I have ever stayed in. Late arrival check in was easy, and it would be nearly impossible to break or sneak into without a key. I felt really safe, and they even offered free peppekake when you checked in! :) It was clean, small, and safe. Definitely recommend it to anyone.
