At least this time I was able to stay at the New Palm Hostel, last time they redirected me to the grubbier Faisal nextdoors.
But paying for a 6-bed dorm got me a bed in a tiny 8-bed dorm again...

good price and location, good place if you're interested in seeing the old city and around jerusalem, had cooking facilities so that was good, but yeah like all middle eastern places pretty dirty and smokey, but it was good for us as we were after cheap places

we where put in their other branch. the toilet fell. And the place was to political they even had a big flag for a free baskenland.

When the owner is around, he's just hanging in front of the television. They exploited a Puerto Rican to run the place during the day, which you had to chase to get anything done (who can blame him of course).
But there certainly was some vibe of activism hanging around, thanks to the other guests staying there.

Eventhough I got reservation in this Hostel they sent me to Faisal Hostel(beside New Palm)since they were full.And stayed in a bench bed for a night.I got a bed only the following night.It is not that clean but it is the center of everything.Hope they would be more organize since I had reservation but not accomodated on what I made in www.hostels.com :)
