The place was in a good location, the free pool was good and we ended up staying there for 9 hours drinking :S The only problem was that i woke up with 22 bed bug bites.... and 5 days later theyre still huge!

The staff were really helpful, letting me check in early to suit my bus timetable, and assisting me with my bags. The room and bathrooms were very clean, warm and neat. The hostel bar was good fun and i enjoyed meeting other people. In a fantastic part of town, would definatly recommend and stay again.

Generally I thought it was a really good hostel to stay in and the female floor was excellent. However I thought the kitchen was too small with not enouigh food storage areas for the size of the hostel and the amount of people staying there.

For a "flashpackers" I was disspointed. On arrival the staff were not very friendly, I don't think the reception chick smiled once during my stay. The bar was fun with the pool comp but there wasn't much to make it more exceptional than any other hostel. In the bathrooms, the showers didn't look like they were finished, the floors were gross and doors were broken off. The dorm was so squashed people couldn't put there packs anywhere it was silly. I wont stay there again.

Kinda not the best location rite next to a club! Got very little sleep. Also came home one nite and there was some1 in my bed..

staff were clueless and the hostel bar was crap no atmosphere, stay somewhere else if u want a good atmosphere

Checking in and out took a while; but the staff were friendly and helpful. The location of the backpackers was great, apart from that it tended to be very noisy at night... but it is what you expect being in such a location (nearby bars, food and handy to town). Great bar; would defintely stay there again.
