the place is very nice. the food is cheap and also the drinks. The beaches near the hostel are not good, but if you pay 15 sg$ you can go to a nice island. You can use the pol of a near hotel. No wifi A recomendable place for low budget travelers

The bungalow on stilt were really lovely and had alot of character, but the overall locationambience of the surroudings was less unique. More could be done to make the whole surrounding feel more exclusive as it is too near the main roads.

Interesting location. The transfer cost from is reasonable; local taxi about the same price takes under an hour. Basic rooms but sufficient, food is reasonably priced. The block of new units will definitely bring in more crowd and noise level :-) The music speakers at the beach bar projects a high pitch tone together with the very high tempo beat that ends exactly at midnight. Enjoy the slurping sound of waves breaking as the tide start to move in under the moonless star-filled night.

nice peaceful get-a-way... the sea is not as clean as expected but if you take a quick boat ride across to the island directly opposite, it is beautiful clear water :)

A great place to relax and escape the crowds from near by Singapore. Real island living. Friendly locals living in the neighbourhood, different to typical resorts where you wouldn't experience any culture. Take the ferry to Tanjung Pinang for a shorter journey to the resort, otherwise it will take almost 2 hours and cost double the price.

hostel is located at the east side of bintan which is hard to reach. no white-sand beach and very shallow sea. the bungalows are very nice. the staff is very nice but kind of confused and has little english-skills. activities are, if available quite expensive for indonesia.

It is a charming place. Go while it lasts. place like this won't be around much longer. it seems they are getting rid of the wooden stilt houses to make room for concrete resorts.
