The reception desk closes at 8 or 9 at night, so if you have any questions ask them before then. If you can find the staff. There were times in the day when they would disappear for hours. The common areas closed at 23:30. I spent my nights lying awake in bed because I wasn't tired yet. The next time I'm in Belfast I'll try another place. Tip: The map and directions on this website aren't a good representation of the real thing, so get a city map or contact the hostel for better directions.

Place had some good vibes going and then they had to shut down the common room at like 11. That kind of sucked. There during the holidays and they only had 2 people working total for the whole hostel, so they were a bit stressed and over worked. It could have been better, but the hostel was clean and warm. Met some cool people.

A basic, but nice hostel with comfortable beds and a nice atmosphere.

BEST hostel in Belfast! really clean and central. Nice staff, what I loved most about this hostel was the customer service and the refreshing clean beds and rooms

10 min walk from bus station. Kitchen common areas limited times. Coed shower rooms have transparent glass doors, so lock the shower room door leaving remaining showers unused & other travelers waiting. Lockers would have been nice. 1 male staff seemed very grouchy to many of us. The day I left, the manager made sure to save me from a longer bus ride with timely advice!

The location was poorly marked. The hostel labelled as "The Belfast Palace". there was only two toilets in the building - not to bad in the off season - but would be terrible in the summer

This would have been a fine hostel if it had any sort of security lockers. There's nowhere to store stuff safely, so I carried around my backpack with my valuables all weekend. The room was incredibly hot, but clean. Staff were useful, and the hostel was fairly social. Would be a fine place to stay with lockers, but then again the price is right.
