Feel like in a big and warm family.Staff are sincere and attention to details.Stay in both Dorm and Bedrm.Both are clean, electric blankets are working fine and most imptly blankets are thick enough to keep warm.A place with a serene surrounding that still retains its local authenticity,instead of the hustle of a typical touristy mkt

Great place - May, the host, was wonderful. The hostel is in a great spot, although they really need proper electric heaters in the winter - the electric blankets, while fine as far as electric blankets go, aren't enough.

This place was absolutely fantastic! Very nice and cozy, a little bit away from all the hustle and bustle of the old town, but a simple ten minute walk away. Staff was amazing and the rooms were comfortable. Only thing is that the security lockers in our rooms weren't big enough to put our whole backpacks in.

Overally nice place to stay, BUT DO NOT COME HERE IN WINTER. I know, Winter is not a perfect time for vacation, but.. They have no heating nor air-con and our room was freezing. We stayed 3 nights. Electrically heated bedsheets were of no use.

This is not a good place to stay during the winter. They had no heat (only bed heaters), and the water didn't get very warm.

Lovely place with lots of character and nice corners to chill out in. May, the manager, was excellent and she has the fireplace burning every night in winter. They went out of their way to get tickets for events for us. It's a great base for trips out of Lijiang to TLG. I cannot emphasize enough that May is amazingly helpful! Worth going only and only if May is there.
