A great hostel. Nasir is very kind and helpful - it seems nothing is too much trouble- and the hostel is a pleasant escape from Petra's high prices. Very good value. Furnishings little shabby in places but very homely and very clean - Nasir makes up for the appearance in spades.

Choose this hostel! Nasser runs an extremely nice hostel, and the friendliness and service is the probably the best I have seen. Nebu was incredibly friendly and helpful. This hostel is amazing.

Lots of places to stay in Petra, but I would recommend this one solely on its staff. Nasser, the manager helped us with everything, and Reda taught us how to write our names in Arabic. Would definitely return.

We had a great time here! An excellent hostel with a very friendly helpful owner who can arrange tours and give recommendations as to things to see and do. Would defintely recommend to anyone who wants to visit Petra providing they are not looking for 5* accomodation.

we had fun in Petra Gate Hostel and hotel in Petra,staff was very friendly and very accomodating to us,we felt very important for them as a guest.I can recommend to my friends to stay there, its very affordable and easy to find the location.
