I have only 2 complaints. The hostal is uphill from the bus stop, near the end of the main road. After an exhausting day at Machu Picchu, I really didnt feel like walking uphill anymore. Also, we were given the room directly in front of the breakfast nook. This seemed cozy at first, but we woke up to loud noises of chairs being dragged across the floor and silverware clanking at 5am, and never really got back to sleep. It was like people were dining in our room.

Windows on the rooms should lock from the inside.

Next time we would stay on the second or third floor. Our room was very damp and there was no window so circulation was poor.
