This is an ok option given it is hard to find a good priced hostel in Venice. The room was very tiny, no room for luggage, but was clean. It has good facilities given it is so far away from everything

Cheap but far from the city. It's 2 Euros per trip into the city and back. All buses (hostel and city) stop at 22h30 so expect no night life. The Beds were terrible. It's a huge camping ground with an overpriced grocery and bar. But-- it's cheap. -h.

Out of Venice but easy access by bus. Staff very helpful. Fun camping experience.

Well when we booked Alba D'Oro, from what we understood, it was 15 minutes outside of Venice. NO! It takes about 45 minutes to get there. We arrived at night, and walking to our camper, we thought we were going to get mugged. The staff were nice, but nothing extraordinary from this place. Cheap accomodation compared to some places in Venice, but I would not go back.

Reasonable sized room and bathroom, especially for what you pay for! The only thing we can fault is that it was getting a little cold when we were there and the heater didnt seem to be working in our room. Otherwise the facilities were ok and camp restaurant and supermarket seemed to be pretty reasonably priced.

It wasn't nice that at check-in nobody told us that our 4-day reservation was truncated to 3 days-only because of the site was closed for winter... Thay told us only at the 3rd evening...

Its far away from Venice, you can take their shuttle in and out or the public bus but will probably end up spending nights in the camp site rather than on the canals. The pool is really handy after a big day in venice but it closed at 7pm!

I stayed in a 3bed air con dorm. Essential during summer months to avoid being destroyed by the killer mosquitos. The bar is good fun most nights and the shuttle bus is handy, but dont be afraid to take the public bus if you want more flexibility, it is easy.
