In a cute hutong area and near the metro, the whole hostelcafe had everything to make our traveling more comfortable. The staff spoke English, always had internet, and they helped us with any needs. I would definitely stay there everytime I'm in Beijing.

The location is at the centre of beijing and is close to the subway. It is also near the bus station where you can find buses to most attractions. It's convenient to go to Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square... The food is cheap in the Hutong near Qian Men Hostel where you can taste old beijing dishes. The street round the hostel is traditional and worth seeing. The staff is helpful and nice. The room supplies warm air and water in winter.

This hostel has a lot of character! I love the traditional feel. The location was also very convenient. I could walk to the forbidden city and use the subway just about 5 minutes away. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the rooms are warm. Definitely one of the best hostels I have stayed in.

I visited in October and was pleased it was so close to Tienanmen Square and the Forbidden City, as well as bus and subway so that you can get to all the other main sights to. Only criticism was the bathroom door was made of glass so if the bedroom curtain was open you could be seen from outside. Staff were great though and very helpful.
