I saw some staffs sweeping the kitchenroom after customers left . Before I entered to cook there were so many students I felt noisy and a little bit mess . I think when you accept group's checkin it's one of the way for receptionist to talk to the group leader about social manners everyone should keep .

The dorms are really smelly especially if its torrential rain like it was when I was there! En suite was clean though. Good facilities - bar and restaurant on site but TV cuts out! Fills with Kiwi bus people so not great for independent travellers. Not the best place ever but not bad and staff are super friendly and helpful.

Doors too noisy when close. Every time woke up due some door noise. You should fix those springs.
Shower awful. Hot water, but the shower seems just some pipe out of the wall.

The kitchen was very poorly equipped with no oven, no grill and only two spoons (this is quite a big hostel too). I was put in a 5-bed dorm which was already full and when I asked to be moved I was put in a female dorm - no complaints there...
