Everyone that worked at this hostel was incredibly kind. I was sick whilst i was in Barcelona, but i was treated so well and with such concern that i almost felt as though i was at home with my family, everyone really went out of their way to make sure i was ok. The atmosphere is really conducive to meeting other people, it's also great to be offered a free meal from time to time. I would definitely recommend this hostel.

A small family-owned hostel with a unique atmosphere. The owners are very lovely and did everything to ensure that we were okay. This is a small hostel so if you want to party, then this isn't for you. Overall, we had a great time because we made some great friends there. Not the best location but okay.

This place is phenominal. Marina and Toti and wonderful people and the place is as comfortable as staying at home. With about 30 of your closest friends. I met people I ended up traveling with for several days afterwards. Clean secure and so accommodating. I extended my reservation 3 times!

Mambo Tango... The place is ran so good. The owners are not just helpful and welcoming but real great people who will do more then you expect to make your stay even better. They called me by name every morning and evening which makes you feel very welcome. The night walk was great! I will return to Mambo Tango.

marina and toti were excellent hosts. really wlcoming and made me feel so comfortable. having the dogs there made it feel just like home. and marina makes awesome hot chocolates!

After a month of traveling, and staying in many different hostels around Europe, Mambo Tango was my absolute favorite. Toti and Marina are two of the nicest people I have ever met, and honestly care about each traveler that stays in their hostel. Its very rare that the owners know and remember your name for your entire stay. If you are in Barcelona, do not miss out on the best in the city.
