Spotless except on friday when the cleaner was not there. Comfortable clean beds, hotel standard decor. I booked for a week and stayed for nearly three. The only complaint I had was too much cigarette smoke coming from the lounge so I was put in a better room in an annexe for the same price and had no more problem. It would be great if this Hostel could make the annexe non smoking and have a female dorm. Excellent value.I always felt safe as a woman on my own.

Noisy.The hostel is located in a v filthy building & the floor just below is used as some sort of municipal dump & was covered in trash... rats anyone? Nasty! The view from our window looked like it had been bombed & obliterated recently! The "left luggage" facility is literally left alone all day behind front desk by an open door. Not secure. I wouldnt recommend this hostel, which is a shame as the staff are v good & with a bit of thought & attention to detail it could be markedly improved.

The staff are great and will do anything for you. The rooms and common areas are clean. We were even treated to a New Years Feluka ride. I would definetely recommend this place.

Great Hostel in downtown Cairo. The guys here make you feel welcome and love playing domino's, something that you will get used to while you are here. Rooms are great and advice of local area and cheap eats are perfect. Would happily stay here again, in fact we already have and would reccommend to anyone.

Very good staff, very fun environment. Loads of good people and close to everything... I very highly recomend this hostel to anyone!

The staff are really helpful and friendly, helped us with the tour planning and other stuffs. After the first two days staying in Australian Hostel, we decided to stay another two nights here, and we are familiar with each other, and becomes friends afterwards. We do recommend the Hostel.

I booked this hostel for three different dates, because i really enjoyed my stay there, the staff at the front desk very helpful, funny and attentive.They can tell you all what you want to know about Egypt. I really recommend this hostel for all people who wanna have fun in cairo.thanQ you guys you are awesome.

I spent the best time in my life in this hostel!!! the staff is wonderfull!!! Location is the best - Downtown!!! if you stay longer more than 4 nights in the private room u will get many bonusses!!!!
