Charlie and Abi are the best hostel managers I have EVER encountered, and I have been traveling since August! A++ in every way, this hostel is the best thing about Cardiff!!

I'm amazed of this hostel. It's location is brilliant (5minutes from train and bus station, just opposite the stadium). It was opened in spring 2008 and is perfectly clean. The offered breakfast is (compared to other hostels) manifold. I can recommend the hostel!!!

just wanted to say, if you need to stay in cardiff, do not hesitate to come here...!!! everything is great, especially staff is extremely kind!!!!!

It was really good, you could take the breakfast you wanted and there was tea all day. Also the staff was really kind and they helped us with everything. All was really clean and new :) Hugs from Spain!

We all thought it was an excellent hostel which was really well looked after by friendly people and in a brilliant location - we will definitely look to stay here again in the future.

I have been traveling in backpackershostels for the past 2 years and this is by far the best i've ever stayed in.

The location is excellent as its only 2-3 mins to the cardiff castle. The staff are friendly. Some of the problems were the lounge was always busy and there are no en-suites but the location makes up for the problems.

After a month travelling and staying in hostel, this was by far the best place I stayed. The staff were incredibly nice and helpful (even making sure we took their apples with us for morning tea), the bathrooms were clean (with heated towel racks and great water pressure), and there wasn't 20 people crammed into each room. The breakfast had cereal, yoghurt, toast, fruit. The communal area was also great with pay tv and free dvds to watch, If only all hostels were like this!
